Career Mistakes

1. Joining previous employer again I'm in between jobs. They invite me back. I already know the people and how they do it, so I accept. During that project I've learned some, but not much. Lesson: Pick new companies and learn. 2. Got an offer in big tech rug-pulled Get an offer. Confirm 1st work day next month, to finish projects and rest. Quit, time pass, HR tells bar is raised - offer no longer valid. Which we both agreed on. Offer isn't a guarantee till first work day. Since I don't have a job now, I agree for an internship. It is HALF my prior pay. At that point, I just wanted to try this anyway. They also paid for a place in a hostel and food. We were sharing the room with other interns, but it was cool! Lesson: don't reject opportunities anyway even if seem sub-optimal Meet cool people there, see how they do it in big tech. At the end of an internship, try to find a team there who'd hire me. Fail a trick question during an interview and I'm out. Figured it out just after I went out - messaged an interviewer, doesn't count.
