You think whatever idea you have it's already been done and there are serious people doing it. Surely a novice can't compete with the behemoth.
But that's a myth that keeps you from what you want to do.
Let me give you a real world example.
There's a big and successful business that preys on fear and laziness. It's Visa Assistance services.
They prey on your fear that you, yourself, would fill the forms incorrectly or do something wrong during application process. They offer quick and easy solution (saving your time in exchange for money).
While the latter claim may be true, there are significant problems:
You are the only one who knows your personal info best
You still have to fill some kind of a form to pass your info to this agency
What makes you so sure they aren't lazy themselves? They're just people. They can make the same mistakes.
Who knows what'll they put in the forms?
They don't have their own visa at stake, its yours. And I bet their assistance fee isn't refundable if you get a rejection.
Taking that example, why do you think that your business is going to be worse than everybody else's?
For all you care, other businesses are just like that, mediocre. There's a whole bunch of visa assistance agencies. Yet, you're completely able to submit the visa on your own with the same chances of approval (if not higher). You are more than qualified, and if not, you'll learn on the journey more than you could've by trying to study the business without actually building it.
